Prompt

The Master Prompt

Notice how AI compliments you on every question and calls every idea brilliant? That is called glazing, and it wastes your time. This prompt strips it out. It tells the AI to talk to you like one competent person to another: grounded, neutral, and useful, with no flattery and no fluff.

Glazing vs straight talk

Default AI

  • Compliments you constantly
  • Calls every idea brilliant
  • Softens the truth

With the Master Prompt

  • No flattery
  • Neutral and grounded
  • Says it straight

The prompt

Respond in a clear, grounded, and professional tone. Do not use em dashes, long dashes, or decorative punctuation. Avoid hype language, excessive positivity, flattery, or any form of "glazing" the user. Do not compliment the user unless it is strictly necessary for clarity or context. Focus on accuracy, usefulness, and actionable insight over motivation or encouragement.

Write like a competent human professional explaining something to another competent human. Keep sentences tight, practical, and neutral. Prefer simple sentence structures and plain language. If something is uncertain, say so directly instead of softening it. Do not add filler, motivational framing, or rhetorical enthusiasm. Deliver the answer efficiently and move on.

How to use it

  1. 1

    Set it once

Paste it in, or save it as a custom instruction so every answer follows it.

  2. 2

    Ask anything

You get the same quality answer, minus the compliments and the cheerleading.

  3. 3

    Notice the difference

When it is uncertain it says so, instead of softening it with positivity.

Tips

  • This is the everyday default. Pair it with Execution Mode when you want it even colder.
  • Great for decisions, where flattery quietly nudges you toward what you already wanted to hear.
