Build Your Own Humanizer Skill in Claude
AI writing has a tell, and once you see it you cannot unsee it. You can fix it in a few messages. Tell Claude to write like a real person, get it to name the patterns that give AI away, ban them, then save the whole thing as a skill you trigger with /human. Set it up once and every draft after that sounds like you.

How to use it

Turn on humanizing
Open Claude and tell it how you want everything written from now on.
I want you to humanize all my text moving forward so it sounds clear, natural, and like something a real person would actually write.

Get it to name the AI tells
Ask Claude to spell out the patterns that make writing sound AI generated, so you both know exactly what to avoid.
List the common patterns that make writing sound AI generated, like robotic tone, filler phrases, repetitive structure, over polished wording, and em dashes.

Ban those patterns
Tell Claude to never use them unless you ask. This is what kills the robotic tone, the corporate filler, the overexplaining, and the press release voice.

Save it as a skill
Still in the same chat, type a slash, choose Create skill, and have Claude package everything you just agreed on. It builds the skill and installs it, so you never have to explain this again.

Tips
- Skills are a Claude feature. You create one from the slash menu, and it installs so you can reuse it any time with /human.
- Give it a few real samples of your own writing while you set it up, so it copies your voice instead of a generic one.
- If a draft still slips into AI tone, tell Claude which line felt off and have it tighten the skill.
